Engineering Ethics as an Expert Guided and Socially Situated Activity Blog
Welcome to the “Engineering Ethics as an Expert-Guided and Socially Situated Activity” blog. The Center for Values in Medicine, Science, and Technology (http://www.utdallas.edu/c4v/) at the University of Texas at Dallas (http://www.utdallas.edu) has conducted a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project (Grant no.1338735), titled, “Engineering Ethics as an Expert-Guided and Socially Situated Activity” from September, 2013 to August, 2016. This blog was created to share our findings, ideas, and research process with the broader audience including engineering faculties, students, and general public. In this blog, you can see how we analyzed the data based on cognitive ethnography, what our primary methodology was, what ideas and knowledge we have come up with this project, and a few other interesting outcomes.
